YOUNIS KHAN RETIRES FROM ONE DAY CRICKET

Younis Khan retires from one day cricket. The veteran batsman criticized the selection committee and the board for not being picked up to play one day international matches after dismal performance in the last world cup.

It was shocking news for his fans. The veteran batsman could score only 9 runs in his last match played against England in Abu Dhabi. The former captain scored 7249 runs in 265th one day internationals with the average of 31.24

According to senior sports analysts, Younis  Khan wanted to focus test cricket only and he is showing superb performance in test cricket. His ODI performance had been less impressive and he was badly criticized for poor performance in the last world cup.

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman has criticized the decision of the great player since he was given space in the team on his request and due to outstanding performance in the test series against England. Young players like Imad Azam, Babar Azam, and Fawad Alam are ready to fill up the vacuum created by Younis Khan.
