ZARA APOLOGIZES AFTER BANNING ENTRY OF VEILED WOMEN IN STORES

Renowned Spanish textile company ZARA apologizes its customers after banning entry of women wearing veil. The ban news went viral on social media and thousands of its customers termed it a racist move.

They also fired two employees from its stores in France. “We have removed one lady sales manager and a security guard from Paris showroom.” Spoke person of the company circulated on its website.

What steps Zara Took

The security guards in all their stores were directed not to allow women covering their heads or scarfs.

“It is such a shameful move from of the brand and we demand from the management of the company to revert back its racist notification.” Najma Ahdi, A French Muslim woman told the reporters outside an outlet of ZARA in the west Paris.

The consequences of Paris attack have taken famous fashion companies into the grip of racism and anti-Islam moves.
